We use Microsoft Teams to conduct this webinar for business purposes. Personal data is processed to facilitate participation, communication, and event management.

Data collection is limited to what’s necessary for the event. Microsoft may also collect usage data as described in their privacy statement.

- Contractual Necessity: To fulfill our agreement with you for event participation (e.g., Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if applicable).
- Legitimate Interests: For efficient event delivery and communication (e.g., Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), balanced against your privacy rights.
- Consent: For optional features like recordings or sharing contact details (e.g., Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
5. Sharing and Recipients of Data
- Within Our Organization: Data is accessible to event organizers and IT staff for management purposes.
- With Microsoft: As the service provider, Microsoft processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement ensuring compliance with privacy laws. Data may be stored in the EU/EEA or other regions with adequate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). Note that U.S.-based access by Microsoft or authorities cannot be entirely excluded.
- Third Parties: We do not share data with third parties unless required by law, for event purposes (e.g., co-hosts), or with your consent. No data is sold or used for advertising by us.
- Participants: Chat messages or shared content may be visible to other attendees.
6. Data Storage and Retention
- Data is stored securely in Microsoft Teams cloud storage.
- We retain data only as long as necessary: e.g., registration data until the event ends, recordings for [specify period, e.g., 30 days] or until you request deletion.
- Automatic deletion occurs when the purpose is fulfilled, subject to legal retention requirements. Microsoft’s retention is governed by their policies—contact them for details.
- You can request deletion at any time via the contact email above.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your data.
- Object to processing or restrict it.
- Withdraw consent (without affecting prior processing).
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format).
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., your local data protection authority).
